billdozer 6
Anyone doe this? I have been fighting with ways to carry comfortably. I just picked up a Kahr p380 in hopes to help carrying from being a chore. I took my pocket holster http://www.elitesurvival.com/index.php?p=product&id=32&parent=2 and stuck it in my pants at 1-2 o"clock and wow, the gun was invisible, the draw was not sacraficed and most importantly it is very comfartable. The problem is I dont like a barrel pointed at the family jewels. Am I being paranoid? The trigger guard is not exposed. Any other suggestions? I have tried crossbreed and they are just to bulky. garnaz 215
The place i train/workout they call it appendix position. I carry a glock and have no issues except after big meals. I wear my close alittle loose anyways so not much issue. Practice draw and be sure can do it safely as to not ruin jewels.

Arik 565
I tried that way (1-2 o clock) and hated it. Was very uncomfortable. I carry everything at the 3-4 (lefty) and never know its there, its that comfortable, for me. Also I dont carry "pocket" guns. My smallest, thinnest is a G19, I wear form fitting clothes and Nothing prints and no one would know I was carrying Edited January 4, 2013 by Arik
Garys4598 1,065
Personally, I have found 4 o'clock is the way to go.
JonnyDingDongs 158
I'm a small guy and I've carried a S&W Sigma that way for years. The only time I've had a problem is when I forget it's there and try to sit in a car which pinches sensitive organs between the slide and the seat. ...I usually remember that it's there quite quickly.
unclejake 428
It really is a personal thing. What ever position allows you to carry comfortably, constantly, is the best way to carry. I personally carry at the 4 eighty, but that's what works for me. I am not everyone else.
eskimo1 0
That's how I carry my 3" 1911 when I go concealed, using a holster that carries it straight up and down. I've found it gives you the best access while seated in a car seat (especially something with side bolsters), and though you feel it when leaning forward, you don't print like you would at 4:00. That said, I'm glad it's something with a manual safety.. just for that added bit of protection.
Sdustin 578
I regularly carry a pf9 like this.
Sim_Player 1,939
Here in Washington State I seldom go without a coat or jacket. I prefer cross-draw carry in a vehicle and 1-2 o'clock if I'm going to be walking around alot. I suppose 10-11 o'clock might be a good compromise. I can't remember the holster brand but, it holds most of the gun above the belt and under a long shirt or coat. My smaller guns go inside the wasteband, chamber empty. JESS1344 508
BILLDOZER, JUST REMEMBER RULE 3: KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER, UNTIL THE SIGHTS ARE ALIGNED ON THE TARGET, AND THAT THE TARGET IS INDEED SOMETHING YOU WANT TO SHOOT. JESS1344
Sdustin 578
I carry my gun pointing straight at my balls loaded. I feel safer that way.
