Maxwelhse 1,285
This definitely needs a sticky so we can stay updated often. thanks pooling I know I'm a newb here, but I'm a passionate one (and at 33 I've got over a decade of gun ownership under my belt). I agree. They should let this kind of stuff sit here for the time being. Nobody is forcing anyone to read obviously political threads, but it does keep it in the forefront. I've said it a few times, I've given the NRA and GOA enough money this month to buy the AR-10 that I've been lusting after. My conscience is clear. Maybe these reminders will get some other folks to join the band wagon. Speaking of.. I haven't become a forum donor yet. I'm going to go fix that right now. Edit: Fixed... slippingaway 89
Yeah, if we can keep the politics out of this thread, just so it doesn't get bumped to the politcs catagory and get obscured by password. This is the law. It's vitally important that we know it, because it effects not just every person that comes to this forum, but every man, woman and child in this country; our very future is at stake!

slippingaway 89
It's not that typing iwantin is by any scope of measure hard, but it ambiguates a topic that transcends politics.

HR 117 To provide for the mandatory licensing and registration of handguns. Guns Sen. Feinstein's New Version of the Federal Assault Weapons Ban: Will be introduced in early 2013, proposes a ban on assault weapons and large ammunition magazines, strips and drums that hold more than 10 rounds -- but would grandfather in weapons and magazines purchased legally before the new law takes effect. The bill would stop the sale of more than 100 assault weapons, but exempt more than 900 specific hunting and sporting weapons, according to Sen. Feinstein.
