Who makes this foregrip?

This appears to be a fore grip with integrated iron sights and rail. This is EXACTLY how I envisioned setting up mine with an eotech and having back up sights. I son't think I will like the typical side rail mount. It seems to sit a bit high. I PM'd the poster, but he only had 3 total posts and his last post was in 2008 so I am not expecting a return.

Does anyone know who makes this? Where to get it?

Thanks in advance!

That is a forend with integral iron sights. That looks like a Halo quad rail. I don't think they make them anymore. But sometimes they pop up on gun broker listed for $350 to $450. They are supposedly pretty heavy too. I suggest you look into the Chaos rail systems. They are cheaper, lighter and have more options.

I like the Chaos. I will keep that in mind.

I have also been intrigued by this UTG:

http://www.amazon.com/UTG-Saiga-12-Tactical-Quad-System/dp/B002TUSRMC/ref=wl_mb_hu_m_21_dp

Except is states "Designed with See-through Feature for Use of Iron Sights." That leads me to believe that the rail sits up above the stock iron sights. I like where the current cheek weld is and if I am going to mount the eotech, I would like it to be as low as possible.

This one had me interested as well:

http://www.amazon.com/Tactical-Picatinny-Rail-Saiga-Rifle/dp/B002E6UWKQ/ref=sr_1_113?ie=UTF8&qid=1357532438&sr=8-113&keywords=saiga

CSS makes a short rail that fits in the rear dovetail of the stock sight. That might do the trick, but I also want iron sight backups.

I think if you look around, there are so many rail variations to choose from, short to long rails, round, square, co-witness, etc

Here is some chaos rail porn for ya. http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/44199-show-me-your-chaos-mounted-rails/

Cast aluminium. One good drop and part of the sight breaks off and then what? $300.00. http://www.chaosus.com/cgi/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=QUAD_SIGHTS No compairison in my book. If you doe'nt like the HK sights there are so many flip ups to choose from it's crazy. Plus Chaos is a buisness member busting his butt to help keep this place up and running.

I did say "almost makes me want a rail!" actually I do not like rail systems, I do not need a flashlight and a laser, and a bipod and a vertical grip, iron sights and red dot sight etc. I was just trying to help the guy but I do agree on the Chaos rail with the hinged rear part and HK style sights. That would be the one if I ever went that route, I just dont like the whole weapon covered with rails.

I actually think I am going to go a different route.... I like the Chaos extended quad to mount the Eotech, and then I will use 45* off-set flip up iron sights for a backup. Magpul AFG2 underneath.

That aint a foregrip.

What is it?

A boat anchor with rails that mounts to a S12. bad_smile.gif

The Chaos rails are far superior.

Yea, I came to that conclusion as well.

I just received my Magpul AFG 2 and really do like it! It makes the reach around my new MD20 drum much better, I did find that I needed to mount it all the way forward on my forearm though. I tried it further back and the drum was still in the way, it is just enough in the forward position for a good hold. If you are going with a full rail anyway and plan on getting an MD20 drum a good aluminum vertical grip might be just a little bit better. These drums are just really BIG and reaching around them is a PITA, I hesitated to even buy one because I expected this but with all the panic I found a good deal and bought it!
