liberty -r- death 1,445
Today I decided it was time to make the Vepr II a little more like it should. Got to use the new Dremel I got for Christmas from my wife. My Dremel Fu skills were hard at work today. Had to modify the barrel bracket and notch the top of the barrel for the screw. Not 100% complete, but good enough to get a photo of it to show off. I think it kinda has a Krink flavor to it. Edited January 8, 2013 by liberty -r- death
chadweasel 2
What hand guard retainer did you use?
thebuns1 4,323
Me likey. Looks good brother. I do like the integrated sights the more I look at them. Still not as good as that one you got with the wood though! That thing is just plain sexy.

liberty -r- death 1,445
Have you noticed a difference in how it shoots compared to your other? Accuracy is about the same at 100 yards. Recoil is the same. I bought the Vepr II just before the election, figuring gun control was coming, and the price was a no brainer. I had planned on reselling it or one of the Saiga rifles when the scare hit, but for now I'm keeping everyting. I prefer my Veprnov build because I have wanted a Dragunov since I saw it the first time years ago. So in a nutshell it really comes down to personal taste.
