crash0716 0
I was looking at the lower forend listed at E-Store but says it is for a Gen 2? From what I can tell from some research is I have a 2001 model. Does that make it a Gen 2? Any info is appreciated.
nerdfrog1522 4
Look at your gas adjustment knob. If it has 2 settings you have a Gen 2 Saiga. The gas cylinder is slightly smaller on the Gen 1 and it only has one setting. It's designed for 3" rounds only.
Kurokaze 10
Most in likely since it's post-99 it's a GEN2.
im_n2_vws 28
I wonder what I have then? My serial number has a 93 prefix, it has 2 gas settings and is a 3" magnum gun. No BHO either. The only thing that is weird about mine is the serial number prefix is 93 but the import stamp 01. Any ideas as to what gen mine is? Kurokaze 10
Weird... I assumed the post-99s were "GEN2", with later the "GEN3"s adding the BHO. It may be that the importer got or had a 1993 receiver with the newer gas tube... dunno.
