ww2imposter 2
Jeesh, it was just a thought. Is this better?
Anubis 38
Conceivably this could be done using the 2 round magazine for the feed stack, in fact I think it has been done.
ww2imposter 2
I've been kicking the thought around a bit, I just hate the thought of ruining a perfectly good mag and a drum.
Flatland Shooter 22
I've been kicking the thought around a bit, I just hate the thought of ruining a perfectly good mag and a drum. I think Jim Lambert with Firebird Precision made a comment that he tried mating a Saiga drum with an MKA mag. He was not happy with the results. If he can't do it, I sure have no business trying it. Too high a risk ($$$) versus reward. Bill
ww2imposter 2
The point I was trying to make with my original post was, that before Sandy Hook unfolded, I was certain that eventually a drum mag would be developed for the MKA 1919...not so certain any longer. bulldog_shotgun 47
it was done long ago.
james lambert 3,059
I am sure several people have done this, we did. But a drum for this gun will likely spell its demise as ATF is not fond of such things. If not for ATFs other problems the Saiga would have already been shut down as was planed for.
