pike_mazter 1
Anyone ever have to drill a hole for their grip bolt and nut into the bottom of the receiver? Where my grip and bolt line up I would have to drill to accommodate. Last conversion I used Carolina Shooter's Supply trigger guard with grip nut built in and didn't have to worry. Spetnaz Soldier 47
Maybe try a different grip. I would avoid drilling holes anywhere in the reciever but thats just me.
pike_mazter 1
Looking at other conversion pics and videos my receiver looks like its missing the hole where the grip nut would go. bottom of mine
pike_mazter 1
Finally found a thread with a template for cutting a new hole for the grip nut. Thinking I'm going to just buy the trigger guard with the grip nut built in to save the hassle. This one is turning out to be a bit more pricey than I had planned. jbremount 0
I have the same problem with my conversion. The trigger guard with the grip nut built in is quite expensive....IMO! dubya 198
I wouldn't worry about cutting/drilling a hole. A dremel will make quick work of that. Its not like a Saiga will be a pricey collectors gun anytime soon , not with the millions here in the USA. And it'll save you money and hassle of buying another one!
