New to forum, saiga 12's, and competition

I just purchased a new saiga 12. I want to configure it for 3 gun, but also may use it for self defense, or work. I would like some feedback on the best modifications for 3 gun that wouldn't hinder it's capabilities for work or home defense. Here are some of my thoughts for mods (plan on having Mike Rogers do the work for me).

 

Low recoil buffer system

Sight upgrade - hk or krebs

C-more rts sight 7moa (rail or ak side sight attach)

Magpul CTR stock

AR style grip

Shorten barrel, permanently attach muzzle brake (not sure on the barrel length or brake)

Lone Star's trigger upgrade

Mag well (not sure which brand)

Extended mag release

 

Really curious about competitor's thoughts on barrel length, choke/no choke, and the ability to knock down targets. Want to be able to use economical ammo, and be able to still have adequate down range performance on clays, steel, poppers, and spinners. Is it possible (good/bad idea) to adapt the saiga to a permanent choke (what choke), and still use a brake at the end of the barrel.

 

I have read a decent amount on other 3 gun forums, but can't find much help on saiga 12's.
