Spetnaz Soldier 47
Hey guys i had to reface the hammer on my saiga. It was hitting only the top part of the bolt instead of hitting it flush. Any body have similar experiences?
hdskumm 39
just out of curiosity, did you check if your stock hammer was hitting flush? The g2 in my saiga doesn't, and my stock vepr12 hammer doesn't.
Spetnaz Soldier 47
My stock one did and the g2 didnt. now the g2 hits pretty flush. I put some masking tape on the end of the bolt to check the contact points and dry fired and now the hammer hits the entire top half or more of the bolt rather than just the top only so its getting there. gunfun 3,931
They are about all that way for saigas unless you modify them to hit square. It is worth doing.
tchick 52
I checked the tapco hammer on my 7.62 saiga and it looks like it's hitting flat against the bolt.
