Powerbomb51 0
I had a tromix shark brake installed and a new gas block front sight. Could it be the shark brake that is keeping it from cycling? Has anyone had this problem with the shark break?
Shandlanos 1,470
Nope, the shark break won't substantially affect pressure, and if anything, it would very slightly increase it.You replaced the gas block - start there. If it's misaligned, perhaps slightly covering the gas hole, that could easily be your culprit. If it ran before the new GB, and it doesn't now, somebody probably fucked up the install.Instead of asking if the shark brake was the culprit - did you consider removing it for 30 rounds? I thought about that, but I think the guy put it on with blue loctite so I couldn't get if off at the range today. I think ol boy messed up the gas block install.
