Big John! 2,062
I was browsing Armslist and Sig, Colt, Stag, S&W, etc... AR 15's can be had all day long BNIB for $1500 and under. There's still asshat's that think their AR's are made of gold and are trying to get big bucks for them. Give it a month or two and if our government doesn't fuck us any worse, it will be a buyers market when all the credit card bills come due.
semper299 284
LOL, I sure hope so. I have noticed that the golden laced PMAGS are coming back down to earth. They were getting 50 and up for em....now 30 seems to be the going rate. Edited February 8, 2013 by Semper299
XD45 7,124
I have a secret fantasy. I don't know if I even dare say it... I dream that the panic buying of ammo will entice manufacturers to ramp up production and then when the panic dies down there will be excess, resulting in (I quiver as I write this...) cheap and available ammo. There. I said it.

I think they might already be doing it. Nothing in the 2A about the right to get ammo.

storm6490 2,768
they won't pass shit. they kicked the hornets nest and got fucked. the mid term elections will remove socialist scum. people are fed up with the shit. you may not be able to vote out a president that sucks, but you can really put the hurt on the house and senate if they act up. My crystal ball says the senate democrats will take a huge hit from conservatives and the house will continue to get stronger. we really were getting close to civil unrest. they toyed with the idea of confiscation and it back lashed. now they will be lucky to get a bill presented on the floor. we have all seen this happen before. this time we were at the ready with good communications, funding and information that made them look foolish. their lies were exposed instantly. their theory was dismantled with fact and common sense. we won.

XD45 7,124
we won. Unfortunately we lost. We always lose. Some lost more than others. NY lost big. And it's not over. KTM 72
California is one upping NY in the race to have the most restrictive ban. I doubt any pro gun people living in either of those shitty states thinks 'we won'
mostholycerebus 415
NY, Cali, Colorado, the eastern states are next, and here in Illinois they are just getting started. Obama couldnt win at the federal level, so now he's going state to state applying pressure to get state bans passed. When that happens, he'll campaign next year that 'the majority' of states have 'seen the light' and passed 'common sense' laws, so why not enact them country wide? Cali and NY were the easy ones, I think Illinois is going to be the battlefront, unless NRA just lets them steamroll us. We're a red state controlled by a Blue city and Blue politicians, there will be a lot of backlash against a ban. We JUST got SBRs and soon CCW here, no gun owner is ready to take a few steps back after the success we've seen. Edited February 8, 2013 by mostholycerebus

jwulf 179
Minnesota has a bunch of anti-gun proposed legislation now one of which would require turning over virtually all guns with no compensation. Those that remain have to have periodic home checks by the police or sheriff. That is just one of over a dozen or so just introduced. Thank God I am only in a neighboring state with none of that crap going on. And we have a huge gun show tomorrow to boot.

Use this plan "Every person over the age of 18 should be trained and own a firearm, pistol with 4) 15 round magazines, and a Rifle with 10) 30 found magazines, used to defend their family, friends and the country from a government that wants to take the 2nd from the American people.NOW THAT IS A PLAN!!!"

Remek 771
This is now part of the new plan. After people went nuts buying ip everything and they realized we wont give up on our constitutional rights, the new plan became to get as many states to pass laws that restricted different things as possible. These will all be contested through the court system and hopefully (the us supreme court is not obligated to hear any case, but likely will entertain many of these) go to the supreme court (the gun banners want this). Now, should the court determine ANY infringement is a legal one, the federal legislators will use this as an excuse that because they can do it, it is right that they should. Really, honestly, I pray for impeachment, I pray all gun owners speak with their vote in the mext election, and i pray our old conservative judges can hold out a few more years. I really do not want this to go to civil disobedience.

Big John! 2,062
Pmags here for $18. Ammo hasn't caught up yet. We have not won yet, IMO. But I think the frenzy got the point across. Colorado is a huge gun state, but our governor is a fucktard. I'm hoping nothing stupid happens here. Won't be long before these people that bought (investing into guns to sell) into the frenzy too late start losing money in a big way in their "investment". We could be wrong, but I agree with Darth. if nothing else fucked up happens, ammo will catch up to a point that they'll be having sales on the shit. Predator, Go look at Armslist. Not gungobroker. An AR you couldn't touch a month ago for under $2500 can be found for a grand or less. I didn't look at the crap AR's but I'd venture to guess that the "no namers" can be had in that range easily. Don't get me wrong, we're not THERE yet, but it's much better than it was. My local gun store is using gungobroker for their pricing for AR's and the like which are now starting to sit for a week or more before some moron comes in and shells out $2600+ for it. A month ago, it wouldn't have lasted 24hrs.
Zombiehunter762 376
Prices are still up there. Now FK breathe is tampering with drones over our heads, Blackhawks in major cities, nothing available on BCM's website, lots of back orders & per orders. As soon as anything is in stock, it's gone within seconds. FK it I'm Savin' up for a DTA SRS Covert .308 with a NightForce 5.5-22x56 NSX scope. I sure hope your right. But as long as this community organizer is sitting & ploting where a REAL AMERICAN PRESIDENT should be. We will have a long road to victory. Plus the Liberals Never Let A Crisis Go To Waste.
