IndyArms 10,186
Picked this up Sunday, from a friend of mine's father... Its in pretty decent shape for a gun well over a hundred years old!!! Damascus barrels, nice engravings, and beautiful wood. Hammered, break action. Oh... by the way.. it was FREE... " Take it or I am going to just throw it away!" he said... LOL! AWESOME!!!! Dont hate! LOL!
David Mark 2,452
That's a handsome shotgun Indy. Do you plan on shooting it?
Ronin38 2,117
Wow, very nice! I'd hate to think what that gun is actually worth! Good thing he didn't take it to one of those idiotic "gun buyback" events!
IndyArms 10,186
That's a handsome shotgun Indy. Do you plan on shooting it? probably not... I dont have the ability to reload 10 gauge black powder shells... And I am not really that interested to do so anyways... more of a collectible piece than a shooter. Wow, very nice! I'd hate to think what that gun is actually worth! Good thing he didn't take it to one of those idiotic "gun buyback" events! I saw something SIMILAR as far as make and model, not necessarily grade or condition on gunsamerica for $2500.

macbeau 902
Love it! A gun like that begs to be shot - even (especially) with BP loads! That is what they were built for and caring for them before and after the "event" is a memory too! I have hand-me-down's that go back to the 1860's and I am not shy about shooting them.... You just can't be shy or reluctant about cleaning and caring for them... just like the original owners did. Remember - guns need love too... Macbeau sends...
