LOL!! I'll say this, even at the very height of things last month, I got my package from CSS about 6 days after ordering

Greg has ESP. He ships my stuff before I even realize I'm going to need it.

I concur. I was surprised when I found the package in the mailbox. The other vendor I ordered from, at about the same time, only shipped today.

If the die does not fit the TAT threads. I would not use it to make threads on a barrel. There should be an adjustment on the die.

Nope, no adjustment. Need to find another DIE, in stock, somewhere.

I've ordered from them nearly weekly for the past 3 months and haven't waited more than 3 businesses days until the package was in my mail box and Greg answers all emails quick and with courtesy. Something that seems rare most places now days.

Fit my Amazon bought, Chinese made M22x.75 Die. :(
That really bums me out because I just today ordered the TAT from CSS and probably the same die you did. It was $20 something and the CSS one was $80 but I still would have got the CSS if it was in stock. Greg, if you read this, any idea when the S12 die will be back in stock?

It's 5/8' thick, so it can't really be used as a guide to file off the excess threads as in the excellent post of

evlblkwpnz.

Turns out that a 7/8" ID clamp will fit over the threaded section.

Which will allow you to file the rest of the excess threads off. Just need to hold it square.
