Kobra red dot sight adjustments - can't read manual

Recommended Posts

So, my groups at 50 yards are about 2 inches to the left and my elevation is right on. My manual for my Kobra red dot sight is in Russian and there isn't even a diagram to help. Can someone point me in the right direction (no pun intended). I did use the top adjustment dial to get the elevation on. That leaves the right hand sight adjustment. If my groupings are left, do I turn the dial counter clockwise, or clockwise to move the group right for the azimuth? And for 2" at 50yards, how many clicks? thanks a bunch

Any red dot I've ever had I just mount up. I then stick a laser pointer in the barrel and point it at the wall. I turn the thing like eight clicks to the left to see which direction it moves the dot. Some will be relative to the dot, so that when you turn the dial left, the dot moves left. Some will be relative to the shot, so when you turn the dial left, the shot pattern will move left (In actuality the dot moves right, but if you think about moving the shot pattern around instead of moving the dot in opposite directions it causes you to not bleed out of your ears so much).

Pretty sure I remember the Kobra was "Dot Relative."
