Good Looking Ugly Guy 12
Is the Tromix Fcg that I ordered actually manufactured by Tapco? I recently ordered a conversion kit from Joe blow and received a tapco Fcg, when the kit states Tromix. is this one in the same?
TonyRumore 1,332
We take a Tapco FCG and modify it so it will work in an S-12. We also add a Tromix shepherds crook and disconector which does not come with a standard Tapco FCG. Tony
Good Looking Ugly Guy 12
Thank you sir. One additional question as I am assembling #2 of 3 s12's Is there a difference between the stock hammer and the Tromix modified Tapco Hammer. I used the stock one in my first conversion and it seems to function correctly. ( as far as my limited exp can tell )
TonyRumore 1,332
The hammers are a bit different, but I don't believe it is a problem to use the OEM hammer with the Tapco trigger. We will add a note to the Tromix website to clarify that the FCG is a modified Tapco unit. We certainly were not trying to mislead anyone. Tony
Good Looking Ugly Guy 12
I had purchased the kit from Joe blow and it did not state that it was a Tromix modified Tapco Fcg either. Thats where the confusion comes in ( Clear as bud light now ) . I am having other issues with this company also ( Rolls Eyes ) I promise never to do business with Joe blow again once this is all resolved.
