BellaCorse 4
Are there any on-line tutorials and/or videos on how to install a Tromix trigger? Or is it fairly intuitive? /M
Haycock 9
its pretty simple. pull the safety detent, pull safety, pull hammer pin, pull hammer, pull trigger pin, pull trigger. then put back together. lube the pins and the sear faces (the shiny part of the trigger). remember how the springs are in there before you pull everything out. if you bought new pins then cut one of you old pins down to hold the trigger/ disconnecter together while installing. this isn't necessary but it makes it easier. you could also look on youtube for AR-15 trigger install.

BellaCorse 4
I read somewhere that the trigger group is held in place with pins that need to be drifted-out. I recall something about the pins being knurled or splined on one end for a better press fit. Which side of the gun are the knurls so I know to punch them out from the opposite side? /M
Trappnguns 1
They are knurled and should go out one way. I forgot which way even though I just did it a week ago. The "gunsumer reports" website has the info you are looking for I think... http://www.gunsumerreports.com/review_akdal_mka_1919_p7.php Middle of the page..
Haycock 9
start tapping on the pin and then look at the other side, if it is knurled then you are going the correct way. if its smooth then go the other way...

Anubis 38
The flat-sided pins are only in later model guns, I think X1201 and up as far as serial numbers go. The earlier guns have rounded ends on both sides of the pin so you'll have to push them out a little to see which side has the knurls.
Scubagrif 0
I bought an extra power from Brownells but it won't go my over my trigger. It's like the springs coils are to small. Any Ideas?????
Haycock 9
you bought a xp spring for your trigger? I'm guessing you meant hammer. if so it will not fit over the stock hammer sleeve/spacer. on mine i took the sleeve/spacer off the hammer and turned the OD down on them so the spring will fit over. if your good with a grinder you can use one to sand them down. hope this makes sense.
