I'm specifically referring to this handguard: https://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=241 I understand that MI supposedly made a version specifically for Saigas without a foreend conversion, but they don't seem to be available any more. But it looks like the version I've linked above should work, since it attaches by bolting to the barrel. Or is there something I'm missing? Should I just go with a Chaos handguard instead? theorangeplanet 968 Posted March 19, 2013 Report Share Posted March 19, 2013 It will fit. The Saiga/Yugo version is just a little bit longer. The only thing that won't work with a standard Saiga gas tube are the optic-specific handguards due to the heat shield over it. If you remove the heat shield, you can use them though.
