paraclyte 0
This is the warning on my Surefire 15 round mags I just received: "Do not load over 2.7" shells as PDX1 or Federal 00 Buckshot or any shells designed for current handguns or Magnum shotguns." I am a new owner so forgive me if I ask something that may seem obvious to you. Just trying to learn. Why are those not to be used? Do they just not work or is there danger in using them? Thanks! liberty -r- death 1,445
They won't fit. They are too long. No danger just size issues.
paraclyte 0
Thanks for the help. I suspected that. You would think they would have just said that, eh?
abyssdncr 4
I've been able to get the Winchester PDX short enough to function with the SGM mags by using a BPI .410 roll crip tool. I set my calipers to 2.750" and run the crimp tool in my drill press down onto the factory crimp until the shells fit through the caliper jaws. Works just fine in the SGM mags after that. Federal Handgun buckshot is still too long for this tweak though...
