bkbville 0
I cant' believe nobody has asked this but a search went empty... Can an 7.62x39 barrel be threaded to 1/2-28? I figure doing so would open up my options for breaks (albeit expensive AR brakes...)
dolomite_supafly 56
Problem is most 1/2-28 brakes have a hole much smaller than 7.62. And if you fired one you would ruin the barrel at a minimum.
bkbville 0
Some do - I know the Lonewolf glock barrels are 1/2-28, at least for 9mm. I was thinking the 300 ACC were, but they are 9/16. I know it's the norm, but I'm not excited about 14x1LH.
mostholycerebus 415
Yeah man, the hole would be too small. You could get strikes on the muzzle device, maybe even tear it off. However, .308 devices should be large enough for the x39 round. So 5/8-24 would be a good choice to open up alot of options.
