DeerSlayer7600 20
I have an older CSS performance puck in my S12 and when I got it the website said to install it with the bump facing the op rod. Why is it that the newer ones have a smaller bump on them and the website now says to install with the bump facing the front of the gun?
gpqueen 545
The new design allows for all the variances in the gun with different gas plugs and gas piston lengths.
travistp 63
Whats funny is I run mine (newer css puck short nipple) with the bump facing the op rod and works just fine for me. Run em either way honestly. Does it make a difference really which way it goes greg?
gpqueen 545
The design of the nipple is to keep the puc from sitting flush against the gas knob.
jeromes 4
The design of the nipple is to keep the puc from sitting flush against the gas knob. I am confused. Does the nipple face the gas knob or the op rod? I have mine with the nipple towards the op rod. Will any damage occur if running it that way. Thanks
gpqueen 545
The newer Gen 2 version with the shorter nipple faces the adjustment knob. The 1st generation puc with the longer nipple faced the back.
