th3unkn0wn 5
Looks like I am going to have to add my experience here as they are not responding to my emails. I originally placed an order in Dec. I spoke them in January and they told me that they were backordered and that they would ship out in February. I called in February and had a real nice coversation with them about their delays and how the whole industry was delayed due to the Sandy incident and the strain that it put on them. He told me that they would be shipping everthing out in March. Well now it is the end of March and sent them an email that I wanted a refund. No response, sent a follow up email and still no response. Looks like I have fell prey to the no response to email tactics...I hope that I get my money back other wise I will report to the BBB. thebuns1 4,323
Id be patient. Ive placed orders with online vendors in Dec. as well, and so far have only received one of my packages. Its no biggie IMO. I'll get it when they get to my order number. I placed an order in early Jan. for another order and havent herd shit about it. I know I'll get it, but in the meantime, I'll wait patiently. Complaining isnt going to do any good. They make good shit, and are just as backed up as any other retailer in the industry. Its just the way it is.
Maxwelhse 1,285
I'm with Hero on this one... Even a very reputable vendor like CABELAs hasn't shipped the slugs I ordered on 12/29 yet... I've heard exaclt NOTHING about my PMAGs from Brownells either. It's just the gun world right now. I do confess that if I was nuts deep in work I would probably hire a temp to respond to emails, but they are probably all too busy to even consider that! Another forum member hit me up earlier this week with the same concern about his emails not being answered by a vendor (not a vendor of this forum) and asked me to drop an email to them to see if I would get a response (I simply inquired about services). I did not get that response... However, 'another forum member' did get a response the next day saying that he was super busy and way behind on emails. but work was happening!
MT Predator 2,294
Patience, I ordered a bunch of PMags from another vendor as they had them for $100 for a lot of ten on a Christmas Eve special. Heard nothing, gave them a call. They said my mags should be shipping soon. They are receiving shipments from Magpul daily and filling orders as fast as they can. I'm sure just about anything gun related is running behind.
nlacy 692
Sorry man, but does anyone not have 2-3 orders they have been waiting on for 2-3 months? I think if you want to buy anything these days without paying crazy prices, you just have to wait, and then wait some more. Most shit you can't even back order, so I feel lucky when that's an option. Usually it's just a "notify me" email." My advice, just wait it out...and be thankful there's still porn on the internet to pass the time.
th3unkn0wn 5
Oh I have patience most of the time, and I am very aware of the strains that the industry is currently in. However I should be able to cancel and get my money back. I can always place another order when they are back up to speed. In the mean time I can use that money for another part or something else that is in stock.

Everything I've ordered before, and even those orders placed well after the insanity began, have shipped and did so quickly. Ammo, mags and accessories, from retailers such as Palmetto State Armory, SGAmmo, AIM Surplus, Lucky Gunner, AGP Arms, Grab-a-Gun and a few others. This was even with back-ordered AGP 10rd mags from AGP... But mostly I only placed orders for merchandise showing In-Stock. And even with the BIG BOLD notices about delayed shipping, the retailers beat their estimates every time. And I haven't paid more than 10% over pre-insanity prices. Why I didn't play the last PowerBall Lottery is beyond me at this time Edited March 30, 2013 by ChileRelleno

I believe that you absolutely should be able to cancel your order and get your money back at any time you want! If nothing else, VISA, Mastercard, paypal, whatever, should be able to help you out with that. I'm posing the opinion that could be a rash decision... You'll just be moving the next guy in line up a notch. If you're that worried or need your money to do something else, then by all means, get it back!

Yes but like Chile said, the items were in stock and did ship and I did not get butt raped over the price. Some of it came pretty fast, some other things did not. The mags I mentioned were a Christmas Eve special and they did state it was a backorder deal from the start. The dude I talked with on the phone to make sure my order didn't get lost was great and assured me they were coming. Now that Magpul is going to pack up and move ops from CO, I support them and can deal with the wait if need be.

6500rpm 670
There's no less than three trheads on the subject at the AK Files board. Atlantic is even more than a little concerned. Considering they produced well under the Confederated Arms name I don't have a clue what's going on right now. Jerry should be able to produce, but something has gone very wrong. I truely hope this is just a set back. http://www.akfiles.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=
Atlantic Firearms.com 170
I would be concerned they have told us numerous STORYS and failed do deliver to our firm and it appears a bunch of other direct sale customers . You can not call or email them because they will not respond . You need to contact your credit card company about the issue often they have up to 6 months do do charge backs not just 30 days. Each week it is a new delay or other simply have them refund the money and ask that they contact you once it is actually ready to ship and you can place a new order otherwise you may be SOL. You should read the various threads on AK Files and their Facebook page it will clue you in on the situation at hand.
