yakdung 2,926
So, did I read that right....China is mobilizing in support of NK? Sounds correct. No different than the Korean War. Just waiting for Russia to chime in support of NK as well.

coronet 131
I remember reading on WND a couple of years back, where instead of an all out nucear assault, all one country had to do was to sneak a submarine in and detonate a nuclear weapon above the state of Nebraska. The resulting EMP would wipe out our power grid and send us back to the stone age. Putin himself said that Russia had toyed with the idea. It was mentioned, I believe in a book of Reagans memoirs or something.

The Missouri River is pretty heavily patrolled - that might have been remotely possible several decades ago, but no longer.
SHOTGUN MESIAH 855
I was about to say, how in the hell are you gonna get a submarine up to Nebraska. Edited April 1, 2013 by SHOTGUN MESIAH
coronet 131
Well, in the scenerios that were discussed, all they had to do was get off the West or East coast and lob one towards the middle. It didn't need to be accurate. Just explode in midair somewhere over the middle. The EMP would do the rest. Submarines aren't that hard to hide, and the range of missle could be extremely short and get the job done. Whenever the Nebraska Navy can deliver us another National Championship, I will be happy! SHOTGUN MESIAH 855
well it's a damn good thing I've been preppin then because that's right where I'm at......for the moment anyhow. and outside of Omaha and Lincoln( on game days ) there is not much population anywhere else. Just Corn and Beans as far as the eye can see. Edited April 1, 2013 by SHOTGUN MESIAH
Bayoupiper 738
I still think this is more of North Korea's typical shit that they pull every decade or two. The world will throw billions of dollars at them to shut up and they will quiet down for another 10 years.

Ronin38 2,117
We don't even need to break out the nukes for a long while, even if we do have to give the snotty neighbor kid a black eye... We have Stealth Bombers with MOAB's, cruise missles, and an array of highly-efficient ass-kickery available to play with! Just wait 'till the next big military parade in the main square of Ho-Hum City, and drop a MOAB on each street corner. The MOAB is actually dropped by a C-130 - not a stealth bomber so much as an airborne bus. From an article dated March, 2003: "The U.S. Air Force has tested its new 10-ton Massive Ordnance Air Blast Weapon to much fanfare, but the service purposefully left the impression that it was a bomb to be dropped only from cargo aircraft for special operations missions. In fact, the 21,500-lb, all-weather, precision-guided bomb, called MOAB or sometimes the "mother of all bombs," has been sized for carriage by the B-2 stealth bomber and is equipped with stubby wings at mid-body and four large lattice fins as part of its tail kit. The fin design was first used extensively by the Russians. On the MOAB, these unusual, paddle-like fins enhance the weapon's ability to glide long distances and allow for more accurate inflight course corrections and smaller, lightweight packaging. At least a dozen MOABs are being rushed through production for delivery to units that could use them to bomb Republican Guard troops, an Air Force official said." HappYBallZ 31
Actually Russia is more pro-unification of both Koreas under diplomatic conditions. While they do not let NK get bullied they are far from sticking up for everything they do(bad); for the last couple of NK's mess ups they clearly showed their (along with China) disapproval They have been working on military and civilian fronts with SouthK while sending food and such to NorthK. Don't let typical US news fool you otherwise. In my opinion US is actually doing more harm instigating things by doing flyovers and sudden "exercises". The chances of NK daring to do anything is close to none, they are too busy dying from famine. Sometimes I think US wants to instigate shit to tie-down SK and their exponentially developing industrial and high-tech field economy that we are having trouble keeping up with now a days. Just IMO. bws1 58
I'm just waiiting for someone like Hillary to apologize for Americas involvement and for Obama to surrender. For the love of god, the first moron turned us into France. bws1 58
I know a guy who was a merchant marine on board some of the aid shipments to NK in the 90s. He watched from the ship as the grain they delivered was immediately seized by the military right off of the docks. It's amazing to me that we still bother to give aid to these idiots. While I agree with your conclusions, the one thing that the regime has in its favor is that it has a monopoly on food. The military is at the very top of the food chain. Sadly, the run of the mill citizens are so malnurished that they contract maladies that have been wiped out in Africa, for decades. So, I don't see the people of NK rising up and effectively overthrowing the government or its military. The thing that floors me is that even if you look at the way the Chinese and Russians treat their criminals, i.e. political dissidents, what I've read of the penal system in NK makes them both look like a lovely day at the spa. It's ashame our government doesn't have the testicular fortitude to tell the Chinese to either reign that stupid twat in or face ungodly high tariffs on any trade. Better yet, make it so unattractive for American held companies like the walmart's, apples, et. al, to have all their product made in China that they relocate somewhere else, preferrably back here. But that probably won't happen.

nfafan 3
maybe not such a bad thing, Nobama is gearing up for war , he itchin....maybe this will distract the prick, he can go confiscate Korean guns I'm betting this dumbass administration is hoping the USA is too distracted from the efforts to ban EBRs to notice how the administration is such an epic fail over the BIG issues facing the USA. Keep the drumbeats over hi-caps and ARs - maybe we won't even notice NK, Iran, Cyprus banking, the jobless recovery in this nation.

Bayoupiper 738
The latest reports are coming in: The North Koreans have once again begun talking peace with the US and South Korea. This is after a string of threats from Kim Jong Un after losing enough weight to see his penis and finding out how small it really was. Up until this point, he had never seen it and it came as quite a shock. His paid escorts had always assured him it was the biggest they had ever seen. Now that the initial shock has worn off, he has regained the small amount of sanity he possessed and has begun talking through his mouth once again.
Conscript 99
I have so many stories from when I was stationed over there just south of the border. Nightmare hill, Thunder Run's, turtle ditches, bali bali cabs, drinking girls, tracked vehicles hitting main gates, etc etc etc... But that fucker's dad, caused more alerts, getting me out of bed with a belly full of soju, and by extension pissing me the fuck off to the point that I want to see his whole family dead. As much fun as carrying a MK19 up and down a hill on your shoulder is, it loses it's novelty 1-3 times a week at 3AM let me tell you.
