gunman1 1,753
Anybody know of any place with s20 mags in stock? Just give Csspecs some time, they'll have them again as soon as they can, and it will be worth the wait, trust me......I waited five years for someone to start manufacturing them. Besides, nobody else has s20 mags.

Crane guy 0
V&G Tactical has them, I just bought 3 for $120 for 10 round mags. If you google it they show $60 a piece but I found a link to him on another board that had them for 38 a piece so I emailed off of that thread to see if they still had any and this morning he replied that he does so I bought 3. I don't know if they are worth a dang though.

The one I bought worked good. Fit is a tad tight, but that's OK by me - less rattling. Feed and functioned fine.
faststang90 18
yeah i ordered 2 more and they where better than the first ones i got.
csspecs 1,987
i have one csspec mag that i got fromn a friend and it works well. I dont really want to pay $70 for a 10 round mag on ebay. What do the csspec mags cost? i $55 for a 10 round steel with the black nitride finish, which is more wear resistant. Current batch has a slight improvement to the rear lug to reduce the area of adjustment, something we came up with on the vepr mags that worked pretty well. http://stores.csspecs.com/-strse-28/Saiga-20-gauge-10rd/Detail.bok
MIKE20GA 11
So after reading posts until my eye's started watering ........ I decided that the U.S.A made CSSPECS @ $55 are the way to go , but during that search I found that my completely stock Saiga 20 ga with a 10 round mag becomes NON COMPLIANT !!! So just to be positive sure , can someone confirm that if I take my "sporting" Saiga 20 ga. and put a 10 round mag in it : I would be breaking the law ??
MIKE20GA 11
I found out for positive - if I use larger then a 5 rounder -then I'm a criminal ........ I went and ordered 2 of the Csspecs 10 rounders @ $55 a pop , now I have to make my gun compliant

I went and ordered 2 of the Csspecs 10 rounders @ $55 a pop , now I have to make my gun compliant Welcome to the wonderful world of the BATFE. Not sure what you have as far as a build goes right now but adding US parts that count can actually help improve the performance of your gun. The US mags will add three parts alone. If you haven't already seen it, here is a handy .922r parts count website. Just uncheck the parts that you've replaced with US parts and it will count down for you. http://gunwiki.net/Gunwiki/BuildAkVerifyCompliance
MIKE20GA 11
Thanks Sunnybean - I have checked out those handy parts websites and after some confusion , I got the gist of it . There are grey areas ; for example ....if I remove the stock thread protector on the end of the barrel and replace it with a US made muzzle break , would that count ? and if I may ask - what would happen (in general) if I'm out shooting and some official attempts to determine if my S-20 is compliant ......... If in their judgement I am NOT compliant -whats the worst they could do to me ?? Don't get me wrong , I will certainly BE compliant ...but there are all kinds of puffy chested hard asses out there with all kinds of opinions as to how to interpret the law . Have you ever heard of anyone even being checked ? Is there an appeal process ? Does it end up in the courts ?? In my experiences with the "Law" - they just get 3 or 4 of their buddies , beat you senseless with billy clubs and blackjacks -take away your firearm , and give you that "Have a nice day" crap ! of course thats an exaggeration on my part
sunnybean 939
Lol. Yeah the whole thing is a fucking mess. Gotta love the BATFuckers. They change their minds on how this game is played every fucking week. It's hard to keep score. There is a whole subsection on this forum dedicated to this subject and there are many folks there that are more knowledgable on this topic than I am. You'd be better off looking at some threads over there. I just use that gunwiki website as a guide. It seems to be up to date. On your questions, the thread protector one is a good question. I don't know if anyone knows for sure. However, adding a US brake/hider won't hurt you. I highly doubt you'll ever be checked on this unless you're doing something really stupid. My best guess is that it would be some sort of additional fine, if say, you were selling unregistered SBS and the man came down to pay you a visit. I have never seen anyone checked for .922r in my life. But then, I live out in the sticks. Lol.
Wagnikov 186
I bought two of the csspec mags. I think there stellar. Lots of fitting, but as tight or loose as you want it. I can think of things that cost waaaaay more, nag a lot, and have no concern for ease of insertion or snugness of fit!
Wagnikov 186
I diverge with the fitment instructions. In that an audible click, is needed for confirmation that the mag insertion process is solid and complete. I found myself not being able to move forward mentally and charge the weapon. Also it can cam up on the taper of the lug with such a short radius as the mag latch has it can over-center and lock like a toolbox lock. This whole mag wobble thing is for the coolaid drinking ar-fanboys. I demand a pic of a steel mag latch that worn out!
saiga20will 0
Anyone know where I can get any of those clear 13 round magazines I know they are not making them but there has to be some out there or anything over a five round mag.
