doug01 3
New forum user question. What type of ammo can be shot through the Saiga .308? Does it have to be 7.62NATO? I had a Cetme and was told by several not to shoot .308 WIN due to difference in pressures. Is the same case with these rifles? Also does anyone hunt with them. Thanks, Doug
G O B 3,516
The Saiga is chambered for .308 win. , and is OK for 7.62 Nato. This is a robust weapon, with a heavy barrel and a strong locking system. It is NOT a re-worked used milsurp marginally acceptible for modern ammo. The Saiga is a NEW sturdy weapon and will pretty well handle anything .308 or 7.61 nato. G O B
