Cbass 23
Can anyone please give me a measurements for the MD V-Plug. The factory Saiga gas plug I have is 3/4". 2 3/4" slugs and buckshot are ejecting at about 1-1:30 vs birdshot at 2:30-3 o'clock making me think the Saiga is way over gassed on setting 1 only. My gas block looks a lot like the image for Factory Plug B below from this MD Arms V-Plug literature. Seems like a ton of light coming through there. dubya 198
Hmm... mine bottoms out perfectly on setting "2". Strange they can't keep the threading somewhat consistent.
Cbass 23
Yeah I don't know about the threads. Just trying to figure out if the MD plug is going to help cover up some of that light that is shining through and over gassing my system.
dubya 198
I think you're just going to have to spend the $25 or whatever it is and try it out. Are you seeing any abnormal wear? If not I wouldn't worry about it. Many 762 Saiga's are over gassed and they're fine.
Cbass 23
It would be easier if someone would pull out their V-Plug, measure it, and tell me it is 7/8" or whatever from my perspective Wow that sounds so wrong when you reread it
JoeAK 337
For the part you have marked, my factory plug measures .735" (little under 3/4), and my V-Plug measures .780" (about 25/32).
Run and Gun 25
The V-plug will help, great product.

That is exactly what I was hoping to hear, thanks Joe. Will order one up when I can find one.
