DLT 1,646
I had a chance to fire a P90 the other day and was not all that impressed. I think that a 74 with the proper brake not only handles better but might also have similar recoil and packs a harder punch. The advantages of being totally ambi, lighter and holding 20 more rounds were not enough to sway me.
thebuns1 4,323
Ammo cost sucks to. I don't feel that the 5.7 out performs the 5.45 at all. The P90 is a bad ass weapon, but is better suited for close encounters, where it is most effective and designed for. YMMV.
bigj480 203
With AP ammo in full auto it has it's niche. In semi and limited to commercial non-AP ammo, it's an expensive toy IMHO. I'm not saying it's useless, but there are better options for real use IMHO. Ammo cost and performance VS 5.45 or 5.56, it's no contest.

I put the 5.7 on par with the 4.6 with AP ammo on full auto. These rounds perform great with these loads, but I wouldnt want to trust them to fill the same role as effectively as the above mentioned. But sadly, most of us dont have access to AP ammo in these calibers.
breid1970 327
Speaking of ammo, has anyone heard about an executive decision about to be put in place to block the import of all russian ammo and weapons to include parts and or kits? And if that happens who actually makes the stuff in the US. Besides wolf for ammo.

It's pretty sad when the real gun has a worse trigger pull than the airsoft version, not joking. I'm not saying I don't like them, but for the money, no, unless I required a bullpup such as that for operational purposes I would not bother. As stated before it's not on par with the 5.56 or 5.
Sdustin 578
The p90 is for people that can't carry a weapon like a rifle. You can strap it to your chest and still drive, run a radio ect. You should be comparing it to something more fair like an mp5k.
thebuns1 4,323
Or the MP7.
