The main reason I am posting is not to argue with my friends here, its because I like this subject and debate. I think it is important.

 

I don't like gouges either, in fact it is a crime. There is no ammo gouging going on here, a man should be able to ask any price he wants for property he owns. Others have an option not to buy or sell the same product cheaper to undercut the previous man, simple freedom. Apparently capitalism is not as simple as some think or more people would understand how it actually works. If you think about it long enough you will realize that your cottage cheese plan would never work under actual capitalism. Ask yourself, why is it that one man does not already control all the cottage cheese? Is it because you are the first one to think of it? Why does not one company control all ammo or all coal production, etc.? In a free society this can not happen, without government force. Don't think I am speaking down to anyone here, I simply feel it is important to clear up what I feel are misconceptions about this subject. Us non-socialists need to understand and defend capitalism if we are to remain free from government control of our businesses and means of production.

I appreciate your education. I understand what you guys are saying. Doesn't mean I have to agree with it in this context. Doesn't really matter. If one guys does the right thing and passes letting the next guy have it. The next guy will more than likely clear the shelf of a caliber he doesn't even own and sell it a 5x the price paid. It's appropriate that the text is in red, since the word racism/racist was made up by a communist in 1930. It has no actual meaning, it's just used as verbal club against anyone who opposes their plans to destroy us, anyone who intends to see to it their own people and culture survive and control their own nations, in other words, any normal sane European, American, etc. that's lived for the last 2 thousand years. But many people now are seeing through this lie, this phony argument to try to get us to commit national suicide. It's not going to happen, the good guys are going to win.

 

As to the ammo situation. Given the massive production numbers here and overseas that are and will soon be flooding the U.S. market, I don't think it will be long before we reach the tipping point and the kind of feverish demand that supports inflated prices will drop off quickly. And once that happens, supply will catch up pretty fast and the warehouses will be very well stocked, maybe better than they've ever been stocked before. We've got, what, maybe 60-70+ billion rounds in the pipeline over the next year, that's an awful lot, even by U.S. shooting enthusiast standards.

I’m selling a friend an AR with 800 rounds of ammo. Seeing how it is a friend the price is just about exactly what I have into it, for the gun build and ammo at pre-panic prices. If it was someone else I more than likely jack the price some but I’ll see this guy about every week. I don’t want to see a buddy later and him have buyers remorse about a deal he made with me when availability was down.

I don’t have a problem with making a profit but I wouldn’t go out of my way to screw someone over, even a stranger.
