jdpete 6
I noticed on one of my two saiga's when the hammer is in the fire position and the safety is on there is drag on the trigger rather than the little bit of motion with spring action. What should I be looking at to fix this? I have inspected but can't seem to figure out why. Not that it is an issue it just seems weird.
JoeAK 337
When the hammer is cocked back and the safety is on? It's normal, and comes from the added friction/spring tension of the trigger engaging the hammer.
gunfun 3,931
Clarification needed: Is the safety clear of the trigger when in the "fire" position? Does the safety solidly block the trigger from moving in the "safe" position? I.e. does the safety tab sit on top of the trigger body to the right of the disconnector? I am trying to work out what you are describing and whether the safety needs fitting to fully engage the trigger body...
jdpete 6
Yes. Yes. Basically there is no spring back action when depressing the trigger during a cocked position with safety on.
gunfun 3,931
That just means your safety is fit without slop. I consider that to be a good thing.
