Sdustin 578
Have any of you guys seen this guys stuff. He makes knives part time and sells them at very good prices. Start at 130 for the BPK (bomb proof knife) and go in the ball park of 600 for the BIGGER knives with hand tooled leather sheaths, his dead mountain chopper is IMHO the coolest knife with a blade longer than 7". I'm going to post a link from my phone. He does a lot of Facebook and so if you guys have that like his page he is amazing. I'm trying to talk the wife into buying me one. PS his style is very "cool" he will polish the hammon and he's got some Japanese influence look to some blades. http://www.brtbladeworks.com/site/beebfc70a8d84c67873ac4b95336c1ea/default?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.brtbladeworks.com%2FGallery.php#2764

Sdustin 578
I just think if I were ever going to buy s custom hand made knife it would be from him. Also the BPK is only 130 with kydex.
gunfun 3,931
if top one has ray skin, do want I kinda like the shark skin better than same. My hanwei sword has same, which is OK, but it seems like a waste under cotton wraps. Doe skin was traditional too for the wrapping, and I like the feel of that. They were also fond of oosic for handles. It was considered a luxury item.

But at the time there were no more BPKs to be had. I emailed him with a request to let me know when a BPK became available, or if/when he made another batch. A few days ago he notified me by email that he had another one available. Asked if I was still interested. I am now the proud owner of a Ben Tendick BPK. Should have it in my greedy paws in a week or so.
