No, your grip should come with a screw.

Bummer!

My A-2 Grip has no screw....Can someone tell me the correct screw to use? I have a Bunch of screws

and a tool to measure the thread type

the one in my ar is 1/4 in by 1 in looks like there is 26 threads

I've never actually checked the threads when I installed one but I would guess they are a standard 1/4-20 thread. Again just guessing from the last time I built a rifle but that's what I would try first.

just bring the lower into home depot and try some out or go to ACE they are more laid back. I know the guys at my hardware store and I just let them know if I'm bringing something in and no big smile.png

Thanks Guys!

If anyone needs any hardware, just tell us we have everything you may need.

Also if you need any original replacement parts , we have most of those as well

The grip screw is 1/4 x 28 x1''

Jim

I was wanting to get a 2nd barrel, is that possible?

We're having a few stragglers on the waiting list who we haven't been able to get in contact with. If you're number 1 through 90 on the waiting list give us a call.

I'm willing to give up #114 to take an earlier number if it'll help you folks out. I'm here to help. cool.png

Received my receiver at dinner time yesterday. Installed firebird hammer, trigger disconecter and
BAD safty lever's. When i got home i drilled the bolt stop out for the roll pin
Used masking tape all around that area before installing thebolt roll pin.
The longest part of the task was taking a round file and filing the slot for the bolt that
Secures the upper to the lower....it was no big deal just get an appropriate round
File and file the slot if you have to until the receivers match up perfectly with the bolt
Screwed in...BE careful and dont get in a hurry installing the bolt catch roll pin
And make sure you tape off the receiver so you dont scratch this fine looking piece!
