Syndicate 812
just bring the lower into home depot and try some out or go to ACE they are more laid back. I know the guys at my hardware store and I just let them know if I'm bringing something in and no big
Goodwin 1
what number you guys up to on the list!
JeremyT 15
I've never actually checked the threads when I installed one but I would guess they are a standard 1/4-20 thread. Again just guessing from the last time I built a rifle but that's what I would try first.

theaxemann 3
Waiting on firebird to chime in with the correct pistol grip screw size for the tac-12. That way I can go to the hardware store to pick it up before my lower gets here.

USMC-1988 0
Just sent my poly lower in so they can build mine for me. Nanci @ Firebird is one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with!! Just wish my hand guards from Centerfire would get here, but they will ship as soon as they get them instock.
duggr 13
Received my receiver at dinner time yesterday. Installed firebird hammer, trigger disconecter andBAD safty lever's. When i got home i drilled the bolt stop out for the roll pinUsed masking tape all around that area before installing thebolt roll pin.The longest part of the task was taking a round file and filing the slot for the bolt thatSecures the upper to the lower....it was no big deal just get an appropriate roundFile and file the slot if you have to until the receivers match up perfectly with the boltScrewed in...BE careful and dont get in a hurry installing the bolt catch roll pinAnd make sure you tape off the receiver so you dont scratch this fine looking piece! snwbrdrcr 17
Yeah I filed down my bolt stop roll pin ever so slightly as it is easy to FUBAR the billet receiver if you're not careful.
theaxemann 3
I just finished assembling my gun with my new tac-12 lower. The only issue I ran into, is now the bolt hold open no longer works. Is there a simple way to correct this? Thanks again.
