Philbmp 0
I can't believe this happened, but I have lost both my Saiga 12 and 7.62x39 bolt/firing pin assemblies. Does anyone know where I can get these or have one for sale? Thank you!! Phil
bobabuee 29
good luck none available, don't exist. one hardest items to get if at all its like a unicorn or bigfoot. your better off take off any aftermarket parts and keep them and part out the parts from stock guns and and use money by new guns. bolts when they come up for sale are $300.00 Edited May 10, 2013 by bobabuee
corbin 621
I think Tromix still sells their heavy duty firing pins.
jdtravers 637
I may have a spare striker and pin at the shop for a Saiga 12. Not sure, but I will check this evening. Did you also lose the bolt or just the firing pin assembly? I should have the complete bolt assembly. Again, I will check later today. Regards, Jack
ddseeker 1
Does no one make aftermarket bolts?
jdtravers 637
No, there wouldn't be enough of a market to do a production run. Might be someone out there with a Hass that has time on their hands to make a run just for the hell of it. Kinda doubt it. Jack
thebuns1 4,323
Sorry bro. That sucks. Its usually a good idea to leave the weapon assebled when you can, or at least have that shit squared away so it dont get lost. When I do a conversion, my bolt is always with the carrier. Be careful too, as when they do become available, they sell out rather fast.
Philbmp 0
Jack, I lost the complete bolt/firing pin assembly. Do you have an extra you're willing to sell? Thanks, Phil
ChileRelleno 7,071
I have a complete unused S12 bolt assembly, but you wouldn't like the price... Nobody has. Price has been $500 for several years now, no takers. I don't really want to part with, hence the price tag.

Goose 95
Buy new guns and enjoy the plethora of spare parts. And that was only half way sarcastic. You're between a rock and a pretty specific hard place. Sorry man

That's not too unrealistic, if you look at it from the viewpoint that if you have an S-12 with no bolt, you have only a little better than nothing. Would you pay $500 for a functioning Saiga? HotShot308 11
If he gets this, I hope he takes it to a 'smith to get it checked for proper bolt closing before he goes and shoots it.
