Will Battlefield 4 be on PS4?

I will pass on the new Xbox if it is, too much technology I do not need.

Yes battlefield 4 will be on ps4. With 64 player multiplayer!!!
Sweet!

And Playstation has free online play biggrin.png

Not for 4 you will have to have ps+ for online play this time. Which is $50 a year I believe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong lol

I believe you are correct.

FYI - For those looking for nostalgia, you can download free computer emulators and games for all old school Atari, Nintendo, Sega, and other consoles like the Odyssey. I also recommend digging out (or buying from ebay) an original console controller or two and then purchasing a "controller to USB adapter" from Amazon if available. When I set up my MAME machine with these emulators and games, I tried some of the new USB controllers. If you grew up playing these games, the new USB controllers will not feel the same (for example,I could not beat Mike Tyson's Punch Out for NES until I used an original controller again). Or for that matter there are still NEW Atari 2600 cartridge games being made - check out HALO 2600 by Ed Fries. (also downloadable)

You can even download emulators for your Android. It will display buttons "ghosted" over the screen. Not the easiest way to play but very fun if you'r stuck somewhere and bored.

I beefed up my Desktop over the winter intending to get into PC games but I just don't like using a mouse and keyboard (too ingrained with playing with a controller).
Tons of my gaming friends claim playing with a keyboard/mouse is a much better experience and a few even play that way with their consoles.

I just can't do it.

Kind of a waste of money since I don't play PC games, but at lease my comp works awesome now, LOL.

I've considered it. Someone makes a controller very similar to a PS controller as well (which I am accustomed to).

So now Microsoft has reversed it's DRM requirement, and the requirement for having to connect to the Internet once every 24 hours. Ethan M looks like you jumped ship too quickly!

"Microsoft has announced an almost full reversal of the controversial digital rights management features built into the Xbox One. The console, launching later this year, will no longer require an online connection, or need to ping the Microsoft servers every 24 hours to hang on to life. It will also now play discs like any regular console and no longer place restrictions on trading games. There will also be no regional restrictions."

I said that but not in that detail lol. But its too late the damage is done to microsoft. People are already mad. I get why they wanted to do that in all honesty though.

I have absolutely zero interest in the Xbox One. I have a 360 and literally never play it. It only gets used as a media center. I traded a junk car for it, have never found a game I enjoyed for it.

I generally only enjoy FPS games, and there's no way I would play those on a console. Going from kb/mouse to a gamepad is a joke. The only game I have installed on my PC is BF3. Can't imagine playing that on a console.

All the other games I play with wife or friends, are on the Wii. I hated the Wii at first, but found most of the games are great for occasional play.

I don't have the time to play the massive achievement-heavy stuff that's popular on the Xbox and PS3 - frankly I'm surprised by how many adults have the free time/patience for that. I have a few friends who are in their late 20s/early 30s and they STILL buy and complete every freaking new game that comes out. Guess what: they all still live with their parents.
