jerry52 893
It always pays to have a little extra protection knowing what legal fees can be, I have the NRA one. Does anyone have something better.
storm6490 2,768
I speak the Queen's English and fancy lawyer speak. Much better to present yourself than have yourself re-presented. In Se, not pro-se. My best offense is knowing before needing.
Rhodes1968 1,638
Little known reality of federal prosecution, they get to limit your legal representation, get all you can. How else do you obtain a 90 something percent conviction rate? Get the insurance if you can afford it, I think GOA also has a program also. Also get the rider for your firearms, most homeowners and renters insurance wont cover more that a grand or two and ammo not at all.
HB of CJ 1,263
Shop around. Get educated. Read the fine print. Agent will and do lie to you thru emission. Ask many specific questions. Get their answers in writing. IMHO there are much better deals than thru the NRA; which may be sweetheart in nature. Find an insurance consulant? Spend some $bills$ getting to feel the road before you jump in deep water? The insurance industry are not nice people and that is a fact Jack. Rhodes1968 1,638
The problem with most insurance is you have to get your collection cataloged, appraised, and registered with the insurance company. Now think on that a bit.
romad7 75
Here's a resource that was recommended by a gun-friendly lawyer (Good rep on the TGO forum). http://www.armedcitizensnetwork.org/ I'll probably be joining this one myself.
