Seekerr048 0
I just purchased a Benelli Supernova Tactical and I'm looking at magazine extensions. Does anybody know how important a barrel clamp would be if I purchased a +2 extension? I would rather save the money if I can, but I would prefer not to damage my weapon either. magsite20 1,664
I've had a mag tube extension on about every semi auto tube gun I've owned and never had any damage to the barrel from the clamp, but if you're worried about it you don't have to have it on there. As long as ever once in a great while you just reach up and make sure it's still snug you'll be fine. especially with one as short as a +2. The other thing you could do is use a small bit of rubber from a tire tube and put it between the clamp and the barrel.
{ROS}_me 32
I have seen magazine extensions for the Browning Auto 5 that don't require/need a clamp, maybe google this type and see if they make one for the Benelli.
