jayruta 0
Hey guys I'm helping a fellow board member on another forum rebuild his saiga which was banned by name here in california. The old receiver was demilled and disposed of. My question is about the bolt cam assist rivet on the left front of the trunnion. The person who sold him the kit demilled this rivet. Is there any way to replicate it or work around it. I noticed that it does not have a cam assist ramp on left side machined into the trunnion and it has a ghetto puddle weld (factory painted) on the round trunnion shelf where a stock bullet guide should be. Anyone have any experience on how to get this rifle working properly. Builder swears that the 7th rivet does nothing and that everyone including a lgs agrees with his assesment. But my experience as a builder is telling me otherwise. Edited July 13, 2013 by jayruta
