13cent_killer 0
Have any of you fine gents registered your Saiga 20 as a short-barreled-shotgun with the A.T.F.? Or can you not do that with imports? If it can be done professionally, cutting barrel, opening up gas ports, threading for choke or for one of those badass door breeching attachments, ect..... How much $$ would this run? Thanx for any facts or opinions in advance. Oh yeah Happy Holidays to everyone on Saiga-12.com AAARRRRRRRRR!!!!!

TonyRumore 1,332
You can just go on the ATF website and download a Form 1. Make two copies and fill them out. Get a pair of passport photos and finger prints taken. You need the BATF NFA finger print cards which any C2 FFL will have. Take the Form 1's to your sheriff or police chief and they will run a local background check on you and sign them off. Then send a check for $200 with the two Form 1's, Citizenship form, photos, and finger print cards to the ATF. Wait about 90 days and it will come back approved. Then you can cut the barrel down, or send it to me and I will take care of it. A full conversion, ie folding stock, 12" barrel, pistol grip, and Tromix gas system, will run $550 on your gun.
