The M92 PAP PV complete

Recommended Posts

Nice job! I like that foregrip, who makes it?

Stark Equipment. I like it a lot better than the Magpull AFG. It gives you a few more grip options plus a nice little stash place inside.

I originally wanted to put a VFG on it but it was brought to my attention that it would be illegal so I went with this AFG and I am

very glad I did, I actually like it better.

Thanks guys

It has been brought to my attention by someone on this forum that this is an illegal fore grip.

According to the ATF, only a Vertical fore grip is illegal.

This is a Fixed Angled Fore grip. If anyone thinks this is illegal, please bring it to my attention.

Below is the ATF page wherein lies no mention of an Angled fore grip.

I know the magpul afg is legal on a pistol. If this one is classified as a angled fore grip then you should be good because it only talks about vertical fore grips

I tried to find a letter from the ATF for the stark but I'm only finding the magpul one. My google foo let me down! :'(

Mailed off the letter today. I wonder how long it will be before I get a response?

Anyone ever wrote a letter of similar content to the ATF before?

I'm guessing It will probably be months before I hear back.

I called Stark and spoke with them on this matter and they are also waiting to

hear back from the ATF as well. They said when they receive such information that

they will post it on their site. So I guess we just wait for now.

Stark did say that they list it as a Angled Fore Grip as it is not designed to grip

like a Vertical Fore Grip.

Well Stark already beat me to the punch. I would rather know for sure than not.

I'm sure that I am not the only one to inquire on this matter. So we will finally know either way.

I don't know about you but I am not going to take anyones word on a message

board that these are ok to install. I want to hear it directly from the man himself. A dangerous game

would be to just take someones word that it is ok and then wind up in Fed Prison for 10 years.

Got my response back from the ATFE and

Here it is in black and white from the man himself. A angled fore grip is legal.
