FredRepr650 0
Hey guys, I have this gas tube. Interested to know if anyone has any insight as to where it might be from. Only marking I can see is an "11" in parenthesis (11). Seller told me he had no idea where it was from but that it fit his Arsenal SLG rather well, part is not FROM arsenal, it was a spare that he had. Anyone know where it might be from? haugpatr 972
11 is the Radom factory code from Poland, no idea if they marked there gas tubes or not. The gas tubes are all the same anyway as far as fit, so no surprise it fit his Arsenal.
FredRepr650 0
Thanks for your input. Just curious as to which country it came from.
mancat 2,368
Not Polish, despite the (11) code. I have several Polish gas tubes and none are marked (11). The Polish tubes also never had the tension spring at the rear of the tube, which yours has. My guess: AK-74 tube of some origin, probably Bulgarian, E German or Russian. Keep in mind that Bulgaria had a Factory 11.
scoutjoe 276
Looks exactly like the gas tubes included in my "Polish armorer kit" that I got from a surplus dealer a couple years back. They were full of Polish underfolder parts
