jabo1385 0
So I just purchased a converted saiga 20 off of ak47.net for 600.00. It has the tromix trigger guard, tapco saw grip and tapco side folder. ( btw I hate the side folder ) Ohhh also comes with three 5 round mags. I don't have the weapon yet. It should be enroute from PA soon. Was that a good deal? Do the 12 gauge muzzle breaks fit the 20? Where do I buy the tap and dye set to thread my barrell? Will any ak variant stock fit on this? Where can I get a typical ak47 front sight that fits the barrel? That's it only a few questions.

HighPlainsDrifter 466
I'd checkout Dinzag for the muzzle brake and front site block. He also has the tap and dies you need. Whatever you do come back here and show us the results.
jabo1385 0
Yup will do. So did I get a good deal? I've tried searching the net but can't find any saiga shotguns in 20 gauge really.

Yeah, if the shotgun checks out you got a fine deal. The S-20 is increasingly hard to find. Not a lot of magazine availability for it. Only reason I've never picked one up is the need to use different magazines for different shell lengths.
jabo1385 0
Thanks parter. I plan on either making this thing like a traditional ak ( wood furniture and sight) Or just go ape crap on it ( sbs , quad rails, mini red dot, tromix stock and muzzle brake) Not sure yet. Haven't decided. But I do know I'm really loving reading about these weapons and I've always wanted one. I own a few traditional ak variants Hungarian amd-65 Mak 90 Sks m ( takes ak mags) And a Arsenal
3rdgeargrndrr 31
a good deal is if you think the gun is worth it. I saw saigas going upwards of $700 recently here in Cali. The Saiga market definitely has its ups and downs, depending on when the supply dries up for a few months, then we get boatloads of them and it drives down the price.
