ec4321 113 Posted September 3, 2013 Report Share Posted September 3, 2013 (edited) The issue with optics on the front of the rail is that some optics (eotech) will interfere with clean ejections. The shell may impact the optic. Some have speculated that weight up there may also cause some issues. I am not sure, but I know from watching video that shells may impact optics placed up front. DresNightfire 39 Posted September 5, 2013 Report Share Posted September 5, 2013 I have a friend in Hawaii that has the new version, with his optic mounted on over the ejection port and has had no problems with ejections so far.
