Cobra 76 two 2,677
Hey did any of my East Coast neighbors happen to go outside tonight and see that ICBM launched from Wallop's Island Virginia!!?? That was cool as hell! ! Saw it from my back yard all the way down here south of Raleigh, NC! Even saw the second / third stage burnout & re-ignition! Info: http://www.universetoday.com/104515/how-to-see-the-historic-ladee-nightime-moon-shot-on-sept-6/ Here's the trajectory as it appeared from here: http://d1jqu7g1y74ds1.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Wright-Brothers-National-Memorial.jpg Video: I must admit it's pretty damn ironic timing that we just happened to launch our very first ICBM off the coast of VA TODAY OF ALL DAYS!!..... Things that make ya go HHMMMMMMmmmmmmm.......

Cobra 76 two 2,677
Yep where I am is about the limit to the south. It was only 5 degrees above the horizon here even and stayed pretty much horizontal til dropping out of sight.
