Paulyski 2,227
How does one post Youtube links so they pop up as videos on this forum, now days?Used to be there was a video link. But the forum software changed. Then you'd just post the link and the video would automatically pop up.Now the forum software seems to have changed again. So how does one make Youtube likns pop up as videos now, and not just URLs?Here's an example;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGph7QHzmo8 used to be it would just automatically pop up as a video.Sorry, don't post on the forums much any longer, so apparently I'm behind the times. pjj342 632
When the video is playing on youtube, or where ever, right click on it. Then select 'copy video URL'. Next, paste anywhere in your forum post. It will just look like a link while you are typing, but will pop up after you hit the 'post' button and it uploads to the forum itself. Thats how I just did it. Edited September 23, 2013 by Boomsick42

Then some kind of limiter kicks in and... IDK...Maybe it has something to do with Google chrome or something.I just noticed that simply copying the URL off the top bar and posting it didn't make videos pop up any more. Cobra 76 two 2,677
Something I found strange was even with what seemed to be a two embedded link post limit, then just urls, i was able to later go back and edit to add more embedded links if I didn't put a space. IDK I have firefox, YMMV.
