I can't tell if you're mocking me or not, in any case, the oppressive regime where I live limits mag cap at 10 rounds....

Not sure where you're at, but if you want to move to the "fly-over states" and have a genuine profession I'm always hearing about job openings for professionals.

I can't even legally buy another Saiga.

Road Warrior 8
I feel for you, I am in very Northern California (Hopefully soon-to-be State of Jefferson) and we have pending legislation that would outlaw the sale any semi-auto rifle, as well as registration and taxation of ALL "grandfathered" firearms. kevinfreel 215
Hope that shit doesn't go through there. If it does I hope you will be a Jeffersonian. Be nice to see the west coast without being in a gun free zone
Road Warrior 8
Thanks for the support, a lot of guys say to move out of state to a more 2nd friendly state, but all my family and friends are here, and I would feel cowardly to run with my tail between my legs. There is a lot of support in rural Northern California for the Jefferson movement, there are two counties who have already voted to secede from California and hopefully Humboldt, my county, will be the third. whatmanual 44
That was the talk for the longest time for Truckee and north of there to secede and become part of Nevada. Wish they would.
montec 164
Nice conversion. I've just spent one day around the bay area(moutain view) and I can't wait to get back to ND. I too have recently converted my Saiga, but still deciding on the stock to use with the css tube.
gregomega 929
I have the CSS stock tube aswell. The only thing I dont like about it is the angle of it. Makes the Saiga look like its bent. It raises your line of sight a little too high for my liking. I borrowed the OP's pic for an example:

gregomega 929
Not too many notice it, but when you do it's all you see and is annoying. Ak builder has a tube with a better angle to it. More natural IMO

A lot of law school exams for types of law that are primarily governed by "uniform" codes, set the questions in the State of Jefferson. I just took one today like that which applied pure unmodified Uniform Probate code. Now I get the joke.

I can't tell if you're mocking me or not, in any case, the oppressive regime where I live limits mag cap at 10 rounds.... Not true exactly! I live in CA too! I have 10+ round magazines legally in this state! NO I am not a LEO! I purchased them long before the import ban of 2000, I can use them in a "Featureless" rifle legally(as well as other firearms I have 10+round mags for)! Now what comes down the pipes in the near future....well we shall see, but as of right now a person may own and use 10+ round mags in CA! But I do strongly agree with your statement " the oppressive regime where I live"! I just hope you are sending the message to the governor how you feel about all this crap we are confronting! Nice rifle BTW!
Road Warrior 8
Good to know, I was 15 in the 2000 ban, a little too young to have "grandfathered" mags. Do you think the governor will sign off on SB-47 SB-53 SB-374 and SB-396?
Remek 771
In future attacks, dont expect grandfathering of any kind.
Bigtwin 219
In future attacks, dont expect grandfathering of any kind. This! But today you know what was vetoed and what was signed! Good to know, I was 15 in the 2000 ban, a little too young to have "grandfathered" mags. Do you think the governor will sign off on SB-47 SB-53 SB-374 and SB-396? Also, what I am about to say may be muddled by some folks, at 15yo there is no law saying you cannot own a magazine! If you did not, I am sorry, but there are no laws that I can find that say a 2yo cant have a magazine!

I expect no less from the ONLY forum vendor that made a matching contribution, to my own contribution, to the NRA when I asked for vendor support.
