slostang 80
Found a great deal working at a gun show this weekend in Columbus! Picked up a like new Rem 700 sps tactical 20" .308. Really got lucky on the find, not a mark on the gun with a very very low round count. Topped it off with a 20moa weaver tactical rail and a vortex 6x18x44 scope on vortex rings. I realize the optical setup isn't the best of the best but I'm on a budget and for a $250 scope I'm very very impressed with it. I've only seen great reviews about it online. Anyone have any recommendations for getting into distance shooting?

You'll learn a lot about what you and your rifle/optic/ammo are capable of. Del Denny is the coordinator. I have a similar set up.
