What is it called and what is it used for? ** Bonus points * how much does it weigh ? ~ not required. Eta, not the trailer the piece loaded on it. IndyArms 10,186
I forget exactly what they filtered... I know the pneumapress fabrics were getting blown out fast, until we perfected them... they used mulitples a day... we got them to use a few a week! was it potash?? I know it wasnt gypsum... those were the big trough presses from fluegas....
Long Shot 1,287
Yeah, you got it. This one is for dewatering copper concentrate. Good job, I thought that would take longer.
IndyArms 10,186
Like I said... I used to work in the filtration industry... we made about 200 press cloths a month for that specific model... probably even the cloths that ARE ON THAT ONE in the picture!!!! Ok.... I gotta get a good one.... gimme a few.... Ok.... lets try THIS.... Who is he.... what is his claim to fame? Good luck! I hope *THIS ONE* is not super easy like the last two pages have been! ChileRelleno 7,071
Shandlanos, I have to ask, did you have a clue to go on from a memory? If not, how did you manage to find this one. I know I was at a loss.
Shandlanos 1,470
I read. A lot. My memory isn't always the best, but if it's a picture of a famous person, I've probably seen it at least once. I had that image associated with coffee, definitely couldn't remember the guy's name or exactly what he'd done - but the association with coffee was enough to start with and start reading wiki. Took about 5 minutes to get to the espresso page, and from there to him. I'm working on finding a new one! Just need a minute.
