bert7.62x39 10
Hello all, I need a little bit of help. I found a good lead on a Polish Tantal wire folder stock and I've read some things and watched some videos regarding the install. It looks like there is a spring plate that uses the pistol grip nut to secure it to the receiver... but my issue is that I have a CSS trigger guard that doesn't use a pistol grip nut (has one built in) and the trigger guard bolts into the existing rivet holes under the receiver... I'm not sure if the bolts for the trigger guard (or some other things in the Saiga receiver) will interfere with the folder stock. Do you think I'll still be able to install this? Have any of you installed a wire folder on a Saiga with a CSS trigger guard? Thanks! UPDATE: ...since I posted this, I found a good lead on a Romanian Push Button Wire Folder. This version doesn't use the aforementioned plate that the Tantal one does so this probably eliminates my problem. I should probably just go with the Romanian...? Sim_Player 1,939
The Tantal folder is also held in with a screw where the original wood butstock screw was used. It's a good fit and not likely to need the grip nut for retention. I have a tantal folder on my 7.62x39 Saiga but, it required some modification to work properly. You might be better off getting the Romanian.

unit2814 3
Curious about the mods u did to get it to work, I had to wrap rubber bands around button to get it to snap back in position! Never could tell what the spring did, I thought some how it was supposed pull that button up? Would like to use it in the future if I knew how .
