Finally decided to buy a polychoke and got it today, put it on and noticed that its set on slug (which it is supposed to be set to xfull all the way open) but the "fingers" insde look fully tightened and I cannot adjust to any of the other settings, I tried using silicone grip towels, and a few other tools with quite a bit of force and cannot get it to budge..Any help?

I had a similar problem when I bought mine a few years ago.

I contacted the manufacturer and sent it back. They made some adjustments and sent it back to me and it worked perfect.

They are a good company with good customer service. Contact them and they will make it right.

super extra full position eh?

I almost got mine stuck in that position just installing it by hand, had to have it on the gun and holding it  on the gun with the spanner wrench installed then unscrew.

if you dont want to ship it back and wait, you might try sticking the whole thing in the freezer, not a deep freeze or anything, just 30 degrees or better, let it sit there for at least 10 minutes, or overnight since its a saturday, lol. carefully grab it by the adjusting end, thread it on your barrel, hold it installed with the wrench, rub your hands together and get them NICE AND WARM, then try to unscrew the adjuster, if that doesnt work you might want to send it back, but the temp difference might be enough to allow it to move.

might put a bunch of thin oil, maybe rem spray oil, in the slots between the little fingers.

I sent them an email, I also read some people said put some rounds through it and itll work in a but, but I feel like thats not the best idea seeing as how its on super extra full haha unless its just birdshot.  I can send it if needed Im in no hurry to shoot clays right now. But at least they do have good support.

I'd try installing it on the gun, and then try popping it loose with the spanner and padded jaw channel locks.  You may pop/break the detent ring, like what happened on mine, but a little .041" stainless safety wire works quite well for the detent ring.
