My new .223 saiga doesn't have trigger linkage just funny trigger

does it have the funky up pull trigger like the 308s come with

Yup yup from what I'm reading that is exactly what I have! Kinda like it, kinda don't.

 

Also has a screw in the bottom of the receiver holdin the forend in place. And a pin in the gas block that hooks the forend to hold it in place.

 

Stupid washer fell off pretty easy, came with a ten round double stack magazine, didn't come with the bag but that's not a big deal.

This gun wash purchased with the kushnapup in mind so the removable stock makes that easy, and that trigger won't be felt if I go this route. We shall see. If not I see a fcg pistol grip and makin my owner folder attachment for the rear trunion. Might use that front screw for a latch to hold it folded.

all of the Saiga-M models have the long trigger without the usual crap linkage. I'm also fairly sure that the trigger operates through the pistol grip nut hole on these.

IF I convert, I like sporting rifles but I am a machinist and mechanic so the AK platform fit my tinkering mentality.
