Bvamp 604
DALnet would work good I think, even though i hate it dearly. Can reg the channel and your nick without much hassle.....just need to download an app to connect with like mIRC or IRC-D or whatever.
shotgun_lobotomy 0
yeah but dalnet goes down alot, sometimes for months at a time, plus its full of spam, viruses, packet kiddies and hackers. its much better to be on a small secure net that dont mess around, has the same seveces as dal and is small enough that when something happens you can get ahold of a admin ( so small they dont even use ircops) its been around for 2 years so no worry about it goin away and its not any harder to sign on to than dal if ppl are looking. on dal it wouldnt just be us it would be all kinds of sadistic assholes looking to fight thats just how that place goes( ive been a op in more than a few dal chans
Bvamp 604
Yeh but no anti-gun people are going to steal it on us once its regged. I think its a great way to scream at the PAMs out there in real time LOL
KySoldier 2
I think it'd be fun, though I don't know much about chatting outside of AIM.

ASSASSIN 1
Hi I agree , i would like to see a chat room. it would be much more interactive and people could ask and get answers/advice quicker. assassin
NedPepper 0
I have no experience with chat rooms other than game comms but we all used to talk on Roger Wilco. Someone with cable could put it up and we would get used to looking to see who might be on?? I'd be in for some chit chat. I have a quetion or 2 now and then I don't like to try to explain in type or am afraid to. Which ever..it needs to be real simple for everyone to load and use. Another thought..how bout ICQ? No talking but you see whos all in the room and you learn to type fast. I vote for RogerWilco only cause it is simple and I know how. I could host..I'm pretty sure. Heres the link http://rogerwilco.gamespy.com/ if you want to look. One woe I'm aware of is you don't have a duplex sound card and the other is getting everyone to adjust their mike level so you don't blast others out. If you want to test RogerWilco the channel is up 68.82.2.213:3783/Saiga12' password: bumpfire If you do try out RW..do the mike 'test' to see if you hear yourself then all should be ok. I just loaded the program and base and its up and I'm "ON" in 3 minutes flat. Edited April 24, 2004 by NedPepper
